  1. People follow incentives, not advice.
  2. People don’t resist change. They resist being changed.
  3. Stress is an internal reaction to our environment.
  4. Don’t struggle alone.
  5. Energy balance is more important than whether someone is on a high or low carb diet. 
  6. When we eat, the liver and muscles get first pickings on available glucose in the bloodstream.  Any excess glucose is then stored as fat.
  7. Stop doing things just because everyone else is doing them.
  8. Acknowledge the difference between helpful & harmful.
  9. Ask more questions & make less statements.
